We are in collaboration with the Economic Crops Research Institute of Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, has established the "Industrial Hemp Joint R&D Center" using the Yunnan Province Seed Industry Joint Laboratory as a platform. This has enabled the development of a comprehensive research platform for the introduction, breeding, and propagation of industrial hemp.
Seed Selection
The Economic Crops Research Institute of the Yunnan Acade- my of Agricultural Sciences, the technical partner of the Industrial Hemp Joint R&D Center, has been conducting industrial hemp breeding research for over 30 years. They have established the largest hemp germplasm resource bank in China and developed 17 "Yunma Series" industrial hemp varieties.They have led and completed over 30 national and provincial research projects, including the National High-Tech Industrializa- tion Project, National Science and Technology Support Project, Na- tional Hemp Industry Technology System, National Public Welfare Industry Special Project, and National Natural Science Foundation. They have also formulated four agricultural industry standards for industrial hemp, which are the only such standards in China.
Yunnan Maye has successfully transformed and promoted Chi- na's first all-female variety and is the only enterprise to achieve the conversion and application of all-female plants. Additionally, in collaboration with the Economic Crops Research Institute, they have developed several high-CBD potential materials.Breeding
We has established a dedicated breeding base capable of supplying seeds for tens of thousands of acres of industrial hemp planting annually. The company has developed a comprehensive seedling cultivation system covering seed selection, substrate for- mulation, and disease prevention, ensuring the cultivation of high - quality seedlings and laying a solid found ation for large-scale planting.
Yunnan Maye is committed to providing high-quality hemp raw materials. In 2022, they initiated the process for organic certification in China, the European Union, and the United States. In 2023, they obtained both EU and U.S. organic certifications, and in 2024, they received China’s organic certification. Currently, Yunnan Maye is the only company in the industrial hemp industry with multi-national organic certifications.
Field Planting
High-quality products require high-quality raw materials. We adheres to high standards and quality in raw material cultivation to ensure a reliable supply for industrial extraction. Leveraging Yun- nan’ s diverse climatic and ecological resources, We have selected the most suitable regions for industrial hemp cultivation and has planted 18,000 acres of hemp.We controls the entire process from seed selection to breeding and planting, aiming to meet the varying demands for different varieties and raw materials. They ensure a reliable supply of flowers and leaves for industrial extraction.
Harvesting
We has developed professional standard operating procedures for harvesting based on the specific needs of different varieties and target raw materials, ensuring the optimal harvest of each.
Primary Preparation
We has prepared different initial processing techniques to meet the requirements of various extraction processes, including temperature-controlled drying, natural air drying, and decarboxyl- ation and granulation. These methods can meet the diverse initial processing needs of different clients.Store
Yunnan Maye has standard temperature warehouses and cool storage facilities with adjustable temperatures. After initial pro- cessing, each batch of flower and leaf raw materials is packaged and stored by batch. The warehouses are equipped with tempera- ture and humidity monitoring systems, and management personnel conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal storage conditions and maintain quality advantages.
